Starting A Family Conversation About Race

Starting A Family Conversation About Race

On June 30th, five KC-based practices co-hosted a virtual event to support our community’s anti-racism efforts. My practice was proud to be one of the five, joined by Preferred Pediatrics, Redwood Pediatrics, Shawnee Mission Pediatrics, and Village Pediatrics.

This conversation was directed by local experts, Vladimir Sainte, LCSW and Laura Probasco-Johnson, LCSW. Moderated by Angie Linz, DO, the content includes relevant and actionable tips for those of us who are unlearning and relearning our role in promoting racial equity in Kansas City and beyond. I’m honored to host a video of the live session in this space.

To accompany the video, these experts offered resources for parents. Download this guide after viewing the chat. I’m sure it will help to support these difficult and important conversations in your home.

Due to important nature of this information, this download is free and available without offering any personal info. But if you do like the download, consider subscribing to my newsletter that will begin later this year. TIA.
